We simply add the MAC address to a block list we created, and then deny internet access to the block list. We do this on a sonicwall. IMHO these kind of issues should always be dealt with on the network instead of the box if at all possible. However, if you need to allow or block internet access of particular app on Windows, you may have to go through several options to create a new rule, assign the app with that rule and so on. To fix that issue, here is a simple app called Firewall App Blocker that lets users allow or block the specific app from using internet connection.

My Edge executable, MicrosoftEdge.exe was found at C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_xxxxxx (I replaced the string with x(s) because I'm not sure if it's uniquely identifiable)
